Al Dhafra Airbase = FZE under VAT?
Hello
Is Al Dhafra Air Base, a FZE as per UAE VAT?
Are Cos or Establishments (such as US Air Force) operating from Al Dhafra Air Base need to pay Customs Duty and VAT on clearing the goods?

It is not there in the Designated zone list. However goods imported by the military forces, and internal security forces are supposedly exempt from Customs Duty and also are not considered as import subject to VAT (Art 47(2a) of ER. Would suggest to reconfirm the duty exemption with your clearing agent or with the Customs Authority directly.
