VAT on Gift Voucher along with Service Fee

Hello, we bought few ‘Gift Vouchers’ on behalf of our client in UAE. Now we have to raise the invoice of the same along with our service fee. Here VAT will be applicable on Voucher amount or Service fee or total of both. Kindly clarify. Thanks

As mentioned, if the vouchers were purchased "on their behalf" ie voucher/invoice/receipt is in the name of the client then it could be regarded as disbursement and service fee alone would carry VAT (provided it is invoiced for separately).
