The TRN is valid as long as the company has not de-registered. If the Company has already de-registered their TRN, then on using the TRN verification option in the FTA portal the result will show as "TRN does not exist in the system". if TRN still exists, it will show the name of the registered person. This way one check if a given TRN is still valid.
