Invoice on the basis of TIN
Hi All, I would like to know if we can raise an invoice on the basis of TIN only? Our TRN is pending.

TRN is the Valid VAT registration number.. without receiving the same you cannot charge VAT. You can raise an invoice but cannot charge VAT on it. Further i presume you have applied for Tax Group registration which is when a TIN is allotted as a reference number. some companies make the mistake of selecting 'Yes' option while applying for individual registration and application gets stuck with just a TIN
