About Me

Deepak Agarwal is a Commerce and Law graduate from University of Mumbai and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India. He has completed Advance Diploma in Software Engg. & New Technologies from Boston Education and Software Technologies Ltd. He has over 15 years of experience in servicing large multinational and SME clients in the area of indirect taxation, SEZ, Foreign Trade Policy and Legal Compliance matters. Deepak specializes and focus on consumer/retail and financial services industry from a GCC VAT implementation perspective. He has handled and executed large VAT implementation projects in the UAE, KSA and Oman. He has been an advisor to large retailer/consumer companies for their day to day VAT matters, VAT structuring and dispute resolution. Before relocating to the UAE, Deepak lead GST initiatives for large Indian Companies andMNCs covering impact study and implementation. Handled complex indirect tax matters (covering service tax, VAT, excise and customs) for consumer/retail and financial services clients.
