Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) is encouraging individuals to pay their Zakat via the Zakaty App or website. The service offers the ability to calculate Zakat for various types of assets, such as gold, silver, stocks, and investment funds. ZATCA reports that Zakat amounts provided through the service have exceeded SAR 431 million since its launch six years ago. All funds go to beneficiaries registered in the Social Insurance at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, with options to select eligible categories. The service is available via safe and reliable payment methods and allows users to know the prices of stocks and investment funds.
