Tax Refund for Business Visitors Guide Updated

The Federal Tax Authority (FTA ) has updated the Refund for Business Visitors Guide (VATGRB1). VAT refund for business visitor’s scheme was launched by FTA in April 2019. The scheme aims to reciprocate the efforts made in countries that offer VAT refund to visiting UAE businesses. As per the Appendix A of the updated guide, the following countries have been added to the "List of countries eligible for the VAT Refunds for Business Visitors with reciprocal agreements" with effect from September 2019 :

• Germany;
• UK;
• Zimbabwe
