As per Federal Tax Decision No. 2 (2019), the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) is implementing the marking of Tobacco and Tobacco products on water pipe tobacco and electrically heated cigarettes. In this regard, the FTA has announced that starting 1st November 2019, all producers and importers of all kinds of water pipe tobacco, and electrically heated cigarettes can place their orders for Digital Tax Stamps from authorised dealers.
