Further to the Cabinet Resolution No. 32 of 2019 (https://www.mof.gov.ae/ar/lawsAndPolitics/CabinetResolutions/Documents/CbCR%2BEnglish.pdf) concerning Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCrR) requirements, the UAE's Ministry of Finance has recently issued clarificatory guidance in the form of Frequently Asked Questions on CbCR regulations in the UAE. The FAQs broadly cover the following areas:
The CbCR reporting regulations are applicable to ‘financial reporting years’ starting on or after January 1st 2019. Accordingly, for the financial reporting year starting on January 1st 2019, the CbC report must be submitted by December 31st 2020.
