FTA publishes updated version of Taxable Person guide for Excise Tax

The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has published an updated version of Taxable Person guide for Excise Tax (EG001). Broadly the changes in the updated version relate to the following:

• Excise goods and the applicable rates, including the new products that are subject to Excise tax;
• Determining the Excise Price for tobacco products;
• Types of declarations and reporting;
• Voluntary disclosures;
• Digital Tax Stamps Scheme.
