The Post Clearance Audit (PCA) mechanism is used by Abu Dhabi Customs. The Post Clearance Audit (PCA) System was launched by Abu Dhabi Customs to ensure the following:
1. Facilitating and simplifying customs procedures at Abu Dhabi's various entry points.
2. Focus on PCA processes after customs declarations are completed using smart targeting criteria.
3. Ensuring that the importer/exporter follows all customs laws and regulations.
As a result, in order to benefit from a variety of customs services and avoid fines/penalties or additional expenses as a result of PCA, the importer/exporter must:
1. Make certain they follow all applicable customs rules, regulations, and laws.
2. Ensure that they declare the correct and accurate information regarding the origin, value, classification, and quantity of the goods.
3. Legitimately apply customs exemption codes
