"Zakat and income" calls for establishments subject to withholding tax to raise their tax returns before March 10

The General Authority of Zakat and Income  called on all establishments subject to withholding tax to submit their tax returns via the GAZT.GOV.S website, before the end of the current March 10 and for the February month, to avoid the penalty of non-payment during the specified period, at 1% of the tax Unpaid for every thirty days delay from the due date.

Withholding tax is defined as a specific percentage deducted from the total amount of income earned by a non-resident establishment in the Kingdom for services provided within the Kingdom, according to the percentages specified in Article 63 of the Income Tax Regulation published on the Authority's website.

In the same context, the authority clarified that owners of establishments and those interested can take advantage of the educational excursion platform for withholding tax, which was launched by the authority through its website to educate taxpayers of the stages and steps they go through to complete the requirements for withholding tax, including steps for registering the establishment, submitting the tax return, and objecting, And other electronic procedures.
