VAT Reclaim - Personal and Private Usage

Hello,

I have a question regarding reclaiming VAT on bills for my business. Specifically, I use broadband for both business and personal purposes. Is it acceptable to estimate a 50/50 split in usage and reclaim half of the VAT paid? Or would it be advisable to have separate plans, one for personal and another for business use?
