VAT
Q. 1 A cover Sum Insured and premium is shared by more than one participant where vat is applicable based on reinsurer lying inside or outside UAE. Is it correct that VAT shall be applicable based on reinsurers lying inside or outside of the UAE?
Q.2. There are some cases where rebates, no claim discount is provided, premium vat will be applied on net off discount/ rebate amount. Do we charge VAT on net off discount/rebate amount in the insurance industry?
