Sale from Oman to Qatar - Is it 0 rated ?
Hi,
We are selling goods from Oman to Qatar. The doubt is can it be considered as export and apply 0% VAT ?
I would like to know if there is any difference in VAT treatment of below scenarios..
1. Export from Oman to UAE ( UAE being VAT implemeted)
2. Export from Oman to Qatar ( Qatar being not VAT implemented)

As of now the Implementing state status has not been assigned since all GCC states are yet to implement VAT. Hence for now, other GCC states are considered at par with Rest of the World so these transactions would be considered as Zero rated export at 0% subject to satisfying the export documentation requirements.

If the goods have physically moved outside Oman, it will be considered as exports subject to 0% VAT in both the scenarios
