Linking Customs and VAT Registration Numbers
Please advise. We are in the process of registering for VAT. Are Customs and VAT registration numbers automatically linked when customs letter is included while registering for VAT?

Think there's a separate process to link customs and TRN numbers. You need to suit a application to customs department wth a copy of TRN certificate.

a letter is to be submitted to the customs with the required details such as Customs code, TRN, trade license etc along with documents. basis the application, Customs will update / link TRN.
