How to treat input credit already availed

Hello everyone, We run a pharmacy shop here. While buying medicines from distributors input credit taken. However some stock of medicines remains unsold as it has expired. Then how do we treat the input credit already taken by us. Guide us experts.

Input can be counted as a valid claim. if the expired items are destroyed it would be counted as normal business loss that shoudnt be counted as a reason for ineligible input claim.
