Hi, we are in the process of changing our company's name. I have confusion here :
a) We need to re-register the company in this case with the new name and continue with the same TRN? or
b) Should we deregister the old company 's name and then apply for a new TRN.
Honestly would prefer the first option. Can anyone please guide. Please share what all is required to do so?

For the first option that you mentioned, you should file an amendment to your existing registration and update the registration with the new name and trade licence with FTA. For this, you need to submit a letter on company letterhead, signed and stamped, explaining the reason for change in the business name.
